The Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) has launched a new campaign designed to encourage Australians who increased their alcohol consumption due to COVID-19 related stress and anxiety to reduce their alcohol use to safer levels.
Alcohol and Drug Foundation
Celebrating more than 55 years of service to the community, the Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) is Australia’s leading organisation committed to preventing and minimising the harm caused by alcohol and other drugs.
We are proudly evidence-based, independent and funded by state and federal governments. We bring expert knowledge and research into the design and implementation of our programs. We reach millions of Australians in their communities through sporting clubs and workplaces, by supporting and informing drug and alcohol prevention programs, and through the provision of educational information.
About the Campaign
The campaign provides practical tips for Australians who want to change drinking habits that have crept in during home isolation.
Promotion kit
Our stakeholder kit has been crafted to assist you in sharing the campaign with ready-to-go information, and materials to help create your own campaign content.
Research
In the midst of the lingering COVID-19 pandemic, the ADF commissioned Kantar Public to conduct a national poll to explore the impact of the country’s initial lockdown.
